The WOW Care Closet was created with one purpose in mind: to help women feel confident, capable, and empowered in their everyday work lives. Many women have closets full of beautiful, professional, and business-casual clothing they no longer wear. Through their generosity, these pieces become a blessing to other women—women who are starting a new job, transitioning within a career, experiencing changes in weight, or facing medical challenges. Whatever the season, we have something just for you.

Our ministry extends far beyond clothing. We strive to bless, encourage, energize, and empower every woman who walks through our doors. Along with providing high-quality, hand-selected attire, we also offer educational support to help women take the next step in their careers. Our goal is not only to help each woman find the perfect outfit, but also to restore hope, build self-esteem, and reinforce confidence.

Our guiding scripture is Proverbs 31:25:
“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she can laugh at the days to come.”

At WOW Care Closet, we handpick every donation to ensure we provide only the best—because every woman deserves to feel her best. Our desire is to instill God-fidence in every woman we serve!

Jill Compton

Anyone's day is immediately brighter when they speak with Jill Compton due to her infectious smile and laughter. She is a beautiful, giving and highly energetic soul who accomplishes more in a day than most can hope in a week.

Her top priority is always her family starting with her husband, Chuck and granddaughter, Ada. Raising a 3 year old can be a challenge for any couple but they do it with such ease, patience and love. Add to this her strong family ties, faith and friendships across the Gulf Coast and you cannot help but be in awe.

She has always had a reputation for being a formidable force since her early days in sales and continuing on in her management of their Real Estate Holdings and in helping her husband and family grow their business, Compton and Son, into one of the most well known and successful businesses across the southern states. What few know is that she takes most pride in the fact that she has been able to take that knowledge and contacts from years of success to help women across the MS Gulf Coast through her work with WOW, Care Closet and Embrace Grace

What is Transformation Tuesday?

Transformation Tuesday is our monthly empowerment experience, held on the third Tuesday of every month. It is an open-forum gathering—no appointments required, no pressure, and no confidentiality obligations. Simply come as you are.

We provide a curated selection of high-quality professional and business-casual attire for women to choose from at no cost. The atmosphere is intentionally designed to uplift, support, and inspire. Bring a friend, a colleague, or even someone you’d like to grow closer with—because this environment has a way of turning strangers into sisters. Invite your church group, your workplace team, or your community circle. Everyone is welcome.

Our mission is to empower, encourage, energize, and educate women so they can walk confidently in their purpose.

Our guiding scripture is Romans 12:2:
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will.”

At Transformation Tuesday, we embrace the journey of transformation—inside and out. Every woman leaves restored, refreshed, and walking in the Godfidence she deserves.
